Is there any way to move and "activate" archived messages or complete forum, so that they are active again?

Moderators archived almost whole Forum, and now I want to get it beack so it's not read only...

There is NO way to edit, delete, move, or prune threads from an archive.

Probably around the time that people don't dig up six month old threads to reply to rather than opening a new thread for the issue...
