I install ubb for the first time
after I filled all filed in General Setting and write the password and push submit button I get page that tell me the page cannot be found.
I am sure %100 of the paths and the directory. what do you things is the problem?

I have the same or similar problem. I have successfully got past the General Settings screen. I'm installing the demo (I do plan on buying if I can get it to work). I clicked on the Forum Settings option, entered the Admin5 / 4tugboat username / password and got a username not found type error. I can't figure out what to try now?

I put my non CGI files in /data/ubb.

Members is in /data/ubb/Members.

CGI stuff is in cgi-bin/ubbcgi

I downloaded the NT utilities files and the hello.pl and hello.cgi run in all three directories mentioned above.

Any help is appreciated.

How did you get past General Settings?

Can you be slightly more descriptive? Paths & permissions OK and check with ubb_test.cgi?

Can you give us a link to your control panel so we can see what's going on?
