As soon as I turn off "use registration fields" in the general settings, each time I try to make a post I get the following error:

You did not complete all the required fields. Please go back and re-enter.

All fields have been completed! and when I change the BB back to "require registration fields" and I can post again.

What setting do you have set in each individual forum? If you go into a forum's details via the control panel you will see two permission drop-down boxes. One for posting privileges, the other for reply privileges. I'm guessing you have that particular forum set to "only registered users".

I'm trying to set that to anyone can post but it keeps defaulting to registered users.

Ideally, once the user has entered the correct forum password I would like to let them post at will, without registering at all. Is that possible?
