I would like to have a LOGOUT added to the control panel so it would log me out and remove my cookie so that IF I was on a shared computer and forgot and closed the browser someone couldn't come along and jump on the board as me in the CP.

I did wonder about the auto-login w/ CP, and I really love how I can just click a link (when logged into my forums) to get to CP. But I suppose you're right, a log out would be nice, too, if you need it.

I like the idea; so you're talking about a link or some sort of javascript set to do an action if your browser closes?

This part would suck. I was agreeing to a logout link on the cp

but to log out there must be a separate login

it'd be no different than how it works now, the logout link would simply log you out just like the current logout link does; should you choose to use it...

then why not log out from the forums??

if you log out from the control panel and stay logged in as an admin - how do you get back into the CP 30 seconds later, when you realise you forgot something?
