Basically at this point we can only handle static images, nothing animated as the resizing can't handle the animations, even if we were to save in .gif format.
We'll definitely be expanding on this, but for now it's stricly static images and photos.
Well one could check the file size and type on upload and if the size limits are within acceptable limits of the board setting then ignore using the conversion tools and just upload the .GIF file as is, thus retaining the animation if any.

I was thinking, when uploaded the image is sent to the tmp directory, could we get a check on it which notices if it's a gif, then checks the max size, and if so it just displays the gif as is without any additional resolutions? since it can't be resized IMO this is the only real way to get it in
