Here today for your consideration is a beautiful vintage 1953 hard plastic strung non-walker Alexander kins Wendy Ann doll made by Madame Alexander. Sweet little Wendy Ann is as cute as can be. She is nicely strung with no loose joint issues. In the pictures her hair looks a little darker than it really is, her 3 row stitched wig is definitely a true very light blonde, in excellent excellent condition. Her hair is shiny and in its original set that appears to have never been combed, just a little flat in the back from probably being stored lying on her back for years. Wendy Ann has a very even toned skin coloring with a very solid heavy plastic body and head. Her face paint is adorable with big crystal clear gray/blue eyes, vivid black painted lower lashes, nicely blushed cheeks and tiny red painted lips. Poor Wendy Ann is missing some of her black molded lashes on her right eye, but as shown in the pictures its barely noticeable. Sometimes her eyes do not come back into position after lying down, but with just a slight tap on her head or turning her upside down her eyes will come back into place. Other than that she is in excellent condition that displays adorable, she just needs a darling vintage Wendy Ann outfit to show her off. I believe her off white satin bloomers are original to her. She has no staining or marks on her body and no odors. I have never cleaned her so she may have some dust that Im sure can be wiped off.
