FULLY RESTORED DUAL 1219VINTAGE TURNTABLE 33/45/78 AUTOMATIC STACKS NEAR MINT CONDITION
Submitted for your consideration is fullyrestored Dual 1219 turntable in near mint condition. It includes a rare walnut plinth in near mintcondition. The acrylic plastic cover had a broken corner at left back corner whichwas repaired, the cover was hand polished, it has few scratches but looks good.The turntable includes a SHURE M75 Type D cartridge with a brand new stylusthat has been installed on the headshell and has aligned, tested and is readyto go! DUAL 1219 was one of the nicest quality of the\'70s era Dual turntables. It has a full 12\" platter that weighs 7 lbs. Itis a fully automatic unit with speed settings for 33, 45, and 78 RPM, and canbe set for 7\", 10\" and 12\" record sizes. The long tonearm (effectivelength 222 mm) assures for very small errors of tracking angles. Tracking isflawless at pressures as low as a quarter of a gram. In single play, thetonearm parallels the record to provide perfect vertical tracking. Inmulti-play mode the mode selector lifts the entire tonearm to parallel thecentre of the stack.
All operations arecompletely flexible and convenient - and foolproof.
The tonearm can belowered to the record manually or via the viscous damped cue-control or bysimply pressing the automatic switch.
This turntable has been completelyrestored.
The motor wasdisassembled and lubricated.
Muting switch contactshave been cleaned and re-calibrated for proper \"spring and gap\"clearances.
All lubrication pointswere cleaned and re-lubed to original factory specifications.
The tone arm guide andrubber sleeve washer of the Single-Multi switch have been replaced; the unitwas cleaned and lubed.
The tonearm liftmechanism was disassembled and filled with fresh damping high-viscosity oil.
Motor drive wheel andthe contact surface of the platter have been re-dressed.
Pitch control has beenre-calibrated to center.
Tonearm set-down pointhas been reset.
All electrical contactswere cleaned and de-oxidized.
All automatic functions werechecked out and performed flawlessly including multi-play mode. The Multi-playspindle is not included.
This table will becarefully packed with the platter, tone arm weight, dust cover and cartridgepacked separately. I will include a copy of the owner\'s manual in English.
During the normaloperation the platter is held by its weight, I will take the heavy plate out ofthe turntable for shipment as recommended by the user manual. I will includethe small retaining ring into the package.
I haveserviced and sold more than 30 DUAL turntables, my response is excellent.
