Up for sale:
We are offering for your consideration this Vintage Super Olds Trumpet with case and mouthpiece. The serialnumber is 10158 The bell ring reads Super Olds Madeby F.E. Olds & Son Los Angeles Calif.U.S.A. I do not know the age of thistrumpet or case. This trumpet is in faircondition. This will play.but needs serviced. There arecondition issues, such as, dents, pitting, plate loss, tarnish, rust, bell bent somewhat, creases by bell, musty smellfrom case and storage, etc. all from time and use. The valves all work, but need cleaned and oiled. The slides are free. The mouthpiece is a Vincent Bach Corp. 7C. This mouthpiece shows wear, some plate loss, tarnish etc. and is still useable. The case is in poor condition and has rusted hardware, taped handle missing half of an end, rips, tears, musty,etc. inside and out, but still offers some protection. This may be original to the horn? This trumpet and caseare restorable in the right hands. Even with the condition issues as stated, this is still a fine instrument.Please see the pictures for details ... we consider them part of the description ... and e-mail us with any questions or concerns. Payment
Most of the items sold at our sales are pre-owned. We do our best to describe any and all flaws that we see. Many of the vintage items we leave in \"as-found \" condition...we leave the final cleaning to the new owner. The winning buyer will receive an invoice with payment total and instructions at the end of the sale. We prefer Pay Pal as payment for our sales. Payment within 3 days of the end of the sale is greatly appreciated. If that isn’t possible, please e-mail us, and we will make other arrangements.
Sales Tax
Illinois residents are required to pay 7.00% sales tax, unless a valid sales tax exemption form is on file with us
Shipping
The winning buyer is responsible for all shipping fees unless otherwise stated in the sale description. Our shipping fees are estimated for domestic shipping only. Items that offer \"Free Shipping\" are only offered to domestic buyers...free shipping will not be offered to international buyers. We generally ship your item within 1-2 days after your Pay Pal payment has cleared, and we will promptly e-mail you with tracking information for your item. Once the postal service has tracked the item to the address that is provided by the buyer, and delivery to the provided address is confirmed, we will no longer take responsibility for the item. The buyer is responsible for providing a secure delivery location. We will happily combine shipping on multiple sales that end during the same calendar week (Mon thru Friday). We take a lot of pride in maintaining our 100% response score so please offer with confidence!
Returns
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let us know and we will respond to you as soon as possible. As stated before, we take a lot of pride in keeping our customers happy and will do all in our power to keep you a satisfied buyer!
