SCARCEORIGINAL TIN LITHOGRAPH WIND-UP ROBOT SPACE COMMANDO NOMURA JAPAN

This sale is fora vintage tin lithographed windup space robot “Space Commando” made by Nomurain Japan. This space robot has a nearperfect bubble dome keeping the astronaut safe from deadly air. Inside the bubble dome the tin lithographedeyes stare out into the depths of space as his head is protected further by thesuit. The lithographing has rubs on theleather gun belt and ammo pouches – nice detailed dial and air locking vent onhis front – and large tubular air tanks strapped to his back are nice. The original riffle is very nice as thewindup key is fully functioning.Original wheels on his feet and the bottom looks to be almost new – notplayed with very much!!
The wind-up spacerobot was tested on 3-30-2014 and WORKSwith perfect sound and great walking action!His left arm can move as his right holds tight to the space riffle thathe bears for protection.
The box for thisspace toy has wonderful and colorful graphics of the Space Commando on a martinplanet with Jupiter behind him in a sky of darkness. The reproduction box is very sharp and looksgreat on a display case alongside the robot.Simply fantastic box.
