I have for sale a complete United States Army WWI Combat Rifleman\'s web set in great shape with nice matching color and wear. The M-1910 haversackis in cherry condition with nothing wrong I can find as I dont think it was ever used, clear \"U.S.\" on the front flap. Very nice multi colors ofKhaki on fabric along with clean hardware, well marked on back \"L.-D. Inc. 7-18\" with inspector stamp\'sscatteredaround. Meat can pouch is very solid with no issues, clean button with original leather inserts for the knife & fork. It comes with the 1917 dated mess tin and knife along with the WW1 fork shown. The M-1917 cartridge belt is in great condition with no issues to speak of other then some staining shown, very strong all around. It is the 10 pocket version able to hold 100 rounds of .30 ammo on 5 round chargers for use with the M-1917 Eddystone or M-1903 Springfield rifle\'s. Well marked on both sides inside 1st pouch flap \'RUSSELL JULY 1918\" with length adjuster showing the same. All metal parts in solid working shape with everything strong and clean, excellent working pouch snaps on all 10 pockets. The M-1910 F.A. pouch is in fine condition, well marked on the inside \"The Miller-Hexter Co 3-1918\" and the soldiers ink stamped ID. This comes with a nice un-opened mint WW2 issue copper cased field bandage to fill it out. Below the M-1910 pouch is a excellentconditionM-1916 squad leaders pouch, clean \"U.S.\" on front and marked on back \"POWERS 1918\".I have had one from a WW1 vet\'s estate that cameholdinga message booklet but could hold anything really depending on the needs.A fine condition M-1910 canteen cover that is tight all around with no damage to speak of, shows a good \"U.S.\" on the front. Inside showing manufacturer markings on ear \"FMHSCo.Nov.1918\" . The 1918 dated canteen and cup are in good shape with canteen showing use, very well marked with both showing a 1918 date on them. Last I have attached a great condition grenade bag that other then the staining is tight all around. Good \"U.S.\" stamp on front along with \"G.P.I. & CO. 7-18\" on the top and as you can see by the way lower belt grommets attach was designed to be hung on belt. All snaps in perfect working condition along with clean belt hook\'s. This will make an outstanding display and only needs a M-1905 bayonet andentrenchingcover/shovelto really fill it out. All the items allow u to mix it up however you like, use it for live reenacting/ living history or just a static display as it\'s a nice set for a cool WW1 U.S. Army doughboy look.
This set DOES NOT come with the Ammo or blanket as they are just to show how it will look when displayed. This is a step above the WW1 era rig\'s normally offered with not many I have seen in complete condition like this all around, the fact that all of this gear is 100% original and almost 100 years old really makes it something special in one shot.
