I\'ve had 3 different dowel bases from a few companies around the world. All three seemed flimsy...you know what I\'m talking about. When you sit in a really nice fiberglass Eames shell chair on a wood floor, the dowel legs slightly spread out.

Well you\'re in luck. These particular bases are reinforced inside each dowel. The dowel legs DO NOT spread when you sit.

Birch only for now. If you want a different stain, let me know. I\'ve even painted some colors that commpliment the fiberglass shell!!!
