Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale one of three verylarge mid century haberdashery cabinets

This sale is for one, the other two are different sizes and listedunder my other items, there is over 25 feet of cabinets in total

This one has 6 bays so 54 glass fronted sliding drawers, the drawers canbe reversed so you have the wood back facing out, handy if you don’t want tosee what is inside

The left side of this one is finished, the right side was wall facing and isn\'t finished, it can be tidied up easily enough, I also have a number of spare shelves so there is potential to build another bay on the end. The timber has a general vintage patina, there will be chips and scratchesconsistent with age and use

The cabinets came from a vintage shooting and general sporting goods shop thatwas closing down in Wales, the shop had been there for over 70 years

These cabinets haven’t been waxed however they have all been deep cleaned,the glass fronts have all been removed and industrial cleaned so totallystripped with white spirits then washed. I can have the cabinets waxed andpolished for £150 each should the new owners wish

PAYMENTS

We accept payment via card at the warehouse on the day of collection,PayPal or bacs prior to collection We would kindly ask that all items are paidfor within 48 hours and collected within 7 working days, we can hold all paiditems for 14 days free of charge, there after a £10 a week storage fee willapply for the first two weeks

Please ask before purchase should you wish us to hold something for longerthan two weeks, if after three months your item isn’t collected you willforfeit your payment and the item will be placed for sale again

CONDITION

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating willalways have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, werecommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leatheris not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time asit will dry out and fade

Absolutely nothing is sent for free, every item has a specific price fordelivery, please ask for a quote before you offer and not after

Your invoice will be sent with zero balance in the delivery section, thisis because all delivery fees are paid directly to the courier company to keepyour costs down, if we charge you through we have to add and paypalfees, vat and other taxes to make sure the courier company are paid the exactamount they charge

We can arrange delivery nationwide, mostly with Wimbledon couriers, forEurope we use two reasonably priced professional companies that we trust, forthe rest of the world it is location specific

Whoever delivers will always require help on the larger items to unload,the price you will be quoted will always be based on this assumption, if thisis not possible please let us know as it will affect the price to send a twoman team

Delivery is to the ground floor only, again if you need help upstairs orin flats etc that\'s absolutely not a problem, the couriers charge £10-£20 perflight per man per item, if you have a working elevator then naturally there’sno additional fee

All courier fees are paid by yourself directly to the courier company, thecontract for delivery is between yourselves the client and whichever courieryou chose from those available I’m happy to accommodate your own courier aftera cleared payment has been received, they need to book in a collection timewith at least 24 hour’s notice, all collections must be made within 14 workingdays of the close of the sale unless agreed by prior arrangement
