Back in the late 1940\'s, a little country store closed down and these 10 signs were recently rescued from an old barn where they had been stored.
Each of these signs measures 20 inches in length and 3 1/2 inches wide. Each sign has 2 sides and we have pictured both side for one to evaluate. As one would imagine, one side is always in better condition than the other, so we grouped them according to our opinion of condition so one could see what they look like hung together.
Each sign also has holes in both the top and bottom so one can hang these one on top of another. There is flaking paint on each sign. We have placed paper between each sign after we photographed to prevent any more damage or paint loss. I believe I would spray these with a flat or semi-gloss poly to prevent any further loss of image, and then hang them one on top of another for a great display.
