This is a very old Antique Bridle loaded with old custom designed sterling silver--it has an early California look about it and possible Spanish//Mexico/ Indian made Silver??not sure but is a one of a kind bridle--bridles like this stay in collections and just do not come up for sale--the headstall part is 48 in. long--side buckles for adjustment--the silver on the cheeks is 5 in. long, and 2 in. with a sliding concho--the leather runs thru the silver pieces--2-1/4 in. side domed conchos--the domed conchos on browband and cheeks are 1 in. and 1-1/4 in. wide- - the side buckles are 2-1/2 in. long --2 in. wide-- 6 ft. 6 in. split reins with silver pieces--the bit is 4-3/4 in. wide--8-1/2 in. long--2-5/8 in. high port--2-1/4 in. wide side conchos--some silver is not perfect on the bit (see photos) the bridle has a stitched repair near the side concho area--no maker identity that I can find--thanks for looking
