Relive Christmas past with this original box with complete set of 12 CHRISTMAS TREE TWINKLER ornaments, manufactured 1949-1950\'s by Tinkle Toy Co., Youngstown OH (Division of Plakie Toys Inc.). These hard plastic spinning ornaments are referred to as birdcages or carousels. NO melting, NO damage, NO broken hook holes, NO cracks or chips, all twirl perfectly & spin freely, ingreat working condition. Each retro cage has embedded glitter sparkles, and a highly reflective metal spinner propeller fan, which spins when hung over a Christmas light. These lights were conceived in 1949 by John Garver of Boardman OH. This set is very well preserved. The box states \"When placed above the light, it whirls, it flashes, it\'s perpetual motion\". Pink ornaments contain a blue spinner, aqua ornaments contain a gold spinner, and the yellow ornaments contain a red spinner. It\'sdifficult to find a complete set without damage. The box does show wear (it\'s 60+ years old!) but has protected the spinner ornaments.
