Hello Folks,Up for offer is this outstanding ready to ride vintage High back saddleUnbelievable con. One of the first BA saddles made. Circa 1890\'s
This saddle carries no maker mark, but was made by the gonna Allen saddle company near the turn of the century, it is one of the first saddles made by this company.
It is in great condition, has been well cared for and completely restored,

The leather is soft and supple,
Patina is gorgeous, its a deep mahogany, not overly darkens by age or oiling
The leather has been retained,
The tree and horn are solid and sound
The rigging is tight
Stirrup leathers and fenders are both new, and very well matched to the saddle
Front and rear rigging straps are all new as well
Fleece was replaced and has about 12 rides on it, so its clean and fluffy
Please see pics for measurements, saddles were made much differently then , than they are now. And measured different also. I can tell you this sits. Like a 15inch, and will work best on a horse with withers, would not be good on an Arab.
Would make a flashy cutting, barrel, show saddle, great for dressed showmanship class, or just to add to a collection
