13\" Composition Mayfair or twist waist Mary Hoyer Doll. These cuties were made by the Ideal doll company 30\'s-40\'s era. Ideal sold her as their MAYFAIR doll and she was sold to the Mary Hoyer doll company in limited quantities to dress and sell also. Fully jointed and a twist waistline makes them very unique. I have referenced one of the Hoyer knit pattern photos which show one of these girls. She has her original brunette mohair wig. She is in original condition with the exception of her eyes which have been restored so they are now clear. She has some all over crazing. No missing fingers or toes. these little dolls have a lot of budy rubs because of the joints and hers are consistent with the age of the doll. She wears a Mary Hoyer knit wool & angora ski outfit made for Mary Hoyer. it is adorable and pretty good shape except for some holes in the legs of the back pants as pictured. Generally these girls are pretty hard to find in decent condition as they were meant to be \"dress-up/Play dolls\" Their mommies played with them and usually the condition reflects that. This one is pretty nice for a compo at the 75 year old mark.
