I\'ll apologize in advance for knowing very little about this doll. It belonged to my late mother and as her son, I have practically zero knowledge of this type of collectible beyond the things that I find on the web.

According to my mom\'s records, this is a Buddy Lee cowboy doll H.D. Lee Co. Inc. 13\" 1949.He seems to be in better than average condition as far as I can tell. I don\'t think that this is the original belt but I\'m not sure. Either way,it\'s made of thin vinyl, has dents and two punctures (seemingly made with a big needle) for holes,one of which is off center. Probably hand made or taken from a different doll.There are no snaps or zippers at the top of Buddie\'s pants. Is that the waythey\'re supposed to be? I don\'t know. I also wanted to draw attention to Buddie\'sshirt by not tucking it in for this photo. It\'s a bit ratty all around the edge. I\'m not sure if that\'s normal for this doll or not.

Buddy has a little silver gun and once again, I don\'t know if this is originalto the doll or not. The little gun has missing paint and is very warped. It has asharp pin on the back like a tac.

I do know one thing about this doll. It was displayed on a shelf for some years.Buddie\'s velvet hat reflects that more than anything. I have cleaned it up to a degree but it could indeed use more of the same. The hat is faded on the top but not so much on the bottom. You can see that it has crinkles and a thin gold tonestring. I don\'t know with absolute certainty that the hat and string are originalto this doll.

Amazingly, I can\'t find a single crack on this doll.
