#1613,1900\'s Brocade 2 Piece Promenade Ensemble: Thisensemble was made in the early 1900\'s of black brocade with a multicoloredfeather style design. The bodice has a bust of 34, waist of 24 andshoulders of 13.5”. The skirt has a waist of 24 and a length of 26”.The bodice is in good condition with all of its original buttons. The bottombutton came off and I have included it in the package. The bodice has ayoke of lace, beads & embroidery. The top of the yoke has some holesin the netting. Both pieces are lined in black cotton which is in good condition.The skirt has quite a bit of damage where the brocade has deteriorated andthere are holes. Some of the holes have been tacked down to the blackcotton lining. See photos. I think the outfit is too fragile towear, but with more conservation could be used for fashion education.
