The originality and eye appeal are exceptional for the assigned grade.The strike is strong and balanced, and is about as good as one might hope to find. The surfaces are choice, showing just afew, very minor marks, but none are distracting in the least. The rich, antique golden gray and very slightly iridescent patina is downright sweet. If you hadn\'t already figured, this is awonderful coin! Although this date is priced as common, we see several1806 halves of this quality for each 1805, and this is a better die variety too!
