Rare ladies black straw large brim bonnet with neo-classical design ribbons. As found! deaccessioned from NYC museum. Broad wired brim with braid detail top edge. Damages and breaks to the straw here and there some large some small,with back of crown completely off. Soldas is for study. Brim measures 19\" side to side and 13\" front to back, slightly to the back narrow crown measures 4\" deep. Rare survivor!
