This is a gorgeous authentic antique Sevres French porcelain plate. It is marked on the back with the oval S.46 mark of Sevres 1846. It is hand written Duchesse De Bourgogne. It also has the destination mark of Chateau Des Versallies. And has a Double LL in circle Sevres 1846. Also the retailers mark it was made for which is Pitkin & Brooks in Chicago. It is a fine porcelain of the highest quality as with most Sevres from this time period. The plate has a gold gilt border of fishnet like design with scrolls and shells. Then an inner border of enamel floral designs. And has a beautiful young portrait of The Duchess. It is signed by the artist Debrie. It has gorgeous color intact. It measures approx. 9-1/2\" and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
