This sale is for a rare original 1890 era antique wooden shipping crate with shotgun shell advertising, marked in part on each opposite side: REMINGTON UMC - NEW CLUB - 500 - 20 GA. - SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION - REMINGTON ARMS - UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. - BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - U.S.A. - New Club was made only from 1867 to 1911. This solid old pine box has finger joint construction at the corners and overall is still in very good condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. This box measures 14 1/2\" by 8 1/4\" and is 7 1/2\" tall and it weighs 3 lbs. 3 oz.
