The book has 15 pages of French hats, each chapeau with a delightful description of the shapes, trimmings and materials used, as well as giving each hata charming name such as \"Princesse\" , \"Toque Rajah\", \"Le Lamballe\" and more. Hats by some of the worlds most famed modistes such as Mme Virot, Camille Roger, Pouyanne, Leatheric, Mariscot Soeurs and others. I only show a peek of what is in here, the rest is for the eyes of the winning buyer. This would make a wonderful gift for the hat collector and lover of fine millinery.

The book was a way to advertise the French styles of millinery as they were being shown in Paris, before those very same hats were to be exhibited and sold here in the USA by the publisher, a large famed milliner emporium names the St. Louis Store. \"A special exhibition of the 15 hats shown in this book\", to be shown in the \"dark room\" of the millinery department of the store. Title is MINIATURES FROM PARIS, Showing the latest designs of the GREAT PARISIAN MODISTES. The booklet measures 5 3/8\" by 3 3/4\". A wonderful memento of days gone by!
