Up for sale is antique postcard. This postcard was published by The Albertype Company and it is “Hand-Colored”. “Blue Bird and Trilby Mines, Cripple Creek District, Colo.” is printed on the front of the postcard. This postcard shows both the Blue Bird Mine and the Trilby Mine occupying the same hill in Teller County, Colorado. Tailings piles, mills and shaft houses cover most of the terrain.
CONDITION
The postcard is not used. It has corner bumps with rounded corners and it has edge wear which is mainly located in the corners. There is a 3/8” crease located in a corner ~ there are no other creases. The postcard has browned due to aging and from being in a scrapbook for years. There are some stains. See the pictures in this sale to see the condition of this postcard. This postcard will be shipped with cardboard around it to protect it during shipping.
