1901 Lesher Referendum Dollar-Boyd Park-no #, HK-796a (R7), Zerbe 10-low grade
Price: US $657.00
I am offering a very rare chance to obtain a genuine 1901 Lesher Referendum Souvenir dollar, imprint type issued by Boyd Park of Denver, CO. Boyd Park was a jeweler in Denver who is believed to have issued approximately 150 of Joseph Lesher\'s Referendum medals. While not the rarest of the Lesher medals, they are still far from common. Of those 150, some 60 have been traced, and within that rarified number roughly 15 are of the unnumbered variety, as here. This is a pretty low grade example, pretty much an entry level specimen for the Lesher enthusiast. This is Zerbe 10 and HK-796a in the Hibler-Kappen book on So-Called dollars. I obtained this specimen from Paul Cunningham. The prices for these have been going up and even lightly circulated examples are bringing strong prices, especially after the publication of Forgotten Colorado Silver, by Bob Leonard, Ken Hallenbeck, and Adna Wilde. I am a collector not a dealer and like to think I am easy to deal with on my offers. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like additional images.
Thanks!
