Offered here is an original, 1907 cast bronze plaque with the relief profile of Abraham Lincoln.  The plaque was created by sculptor Victor David Brenner in that year. Two years later, it was this profile that was adopted for the first Lincoln penny of 1909, and is still appears today. The plaque meaures 3 1/2\" x 2 5/8\" and bears the monogram of artist in the lower right corner. The reverse is blank.  The condition is low excellent.  There are scattered light spots in the chocolate brown patina which are only noticeable with magnification, and I had not noticed until shooting the photos. The right edge has a dark vertical line along the border. The metal is in quite fine condition with no dents or major nicks.  This is a scarce plaque offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting offer. Buyerto pay priority post and ins. (7.50) Thanks
