Very rare and very beautiful, original 1910 Frank Fehr Brewing Co. of Louisville, Kentucky Pre-Prohibition, Tin Lithographed Advertising Serving Tray featuring a stunningly beautiful, Allegorical / Greek Gods style image of a young couple embracing each other in a field with flowers.


This stunningly beautiful and highly sought after, Tin Litho Beer Tray measures 13\" in diameter and features a fantastic image of a beautiful young woman in the arms of a handsome young man. They are both dressed in toga style robes and the woman is barefoot while the man wears leather strap style sandals. The woman holds a bouquet of flowers and flowers decorate the woman\'s hair and the young mans shoulder. The woman wears a gold, snake form bracelet on her upper arm and her beau holds a ring in his right hand - perhaps he is about to propose. Text below the figures reads \"Frank Fehr Brewing Co. (Incorporated) / Louisville, Ky\". Text on the raised rim at the top reads \"Fehr\'s Famous F.F.X.L. Beers\" and text on the raised rim at the bottom reads \"None Purer None Better\".


This outstanding, Pre-Prohibition Kentucky Brewing Company Advertising Beer Tray is copyright 1910 by the Frank Fehr Brewing Company Inc. and carries the mark of the manufacturer which reads \"2327. Kaufmann & Strauss Co. New York\". The Chromolithography is of the VERY highest quality as would be expected from the outstanding craftsmen employed by this premier maker of tin lithographed advertising items.


This very beautiful, ca1910 Independent Brewing Company Advertising Serving Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1910 Serving Tray manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss for the Frank Fehr Brewing Company to advertise their Beer.


This rare and exceptionally beautiful, Pre-Prohibition Tin Lithograph Kentucky Brewery Advertising Beer Tray is in very good condition and displays beautifully. The Chromolithography is bright and bold - rich and warm and very attractive. There are some small surface blemishes, some nicks to the paint in the man\'s elbow and a single small spot of staining near the edge of the image area at 11 o\'clock. There is a 1\" scratch to the left of the woman\'s waist on the blue fabric and a number of short, thin and light surface scratches that do not fully penetrate the lithographed surface. There is some wear to the rolled rim as can be seen in the scans below. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the condition of this fantastic Louisville, Kentucky Brewery Beer Tray!!
