Original and very rare, 1912 Coca-Cola Tin Lithographed \"Calendar Girl” Advertising Tip Tray with illustration of a beautiful young woman by Hamilton King. This wonderful oval Tip Tray measures 4 3/8” by 6” and features a bust portrait of the Beautiful Woman wearing a wide brimmed hat and gauzy scarf. In her right hand she raises a \"Coca-Cola\" Soda Fountain Glass toward her lips. The image is referred to by Coke Collectors as “The Calendar Girl” Tray. Text at the bottom of the Tray reads “Drink Coca-Cola / Delicious and Refreshing”. The image is signed by the artist in the plate - Hamilton King - and is copyright 1912 by Wolf & Co. The Tray also carries the mark of the manufacturer - the Passaic Metal Ware Co. of Passaic, New Jersey.
This beautiful Coca-Cola Tip Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1912 Tray manufactured by The Passaic Metal Ware Co. for Coca-Cola in 1912. It is unconditionally guaranteed to be original and of the period!!!
This wonderful and VERY rare, 1912 Coca-Cola Tip Tray in excellent condition - the lithography is crisp and beautiful. The colors are bright and vibrant and there is no damage or wear to the Image area. Even the raised rime exhibits only very light and minor rubs and a few tiny surface nicks. Overall this wonderful 105 year old Coke Tray is very well preserved and displays beautifully.
