Recent field find, a Remington UMC 1912 calendar. Philip R. Goodwin artwork, one of the most iconic hunting and fishing illustrators ever to work in that field. A great example of his work as he was entering the prime of his career. It was originally in a drawer in an old hardware store, which explains the near pristine original condition. This calendar is 100% guaranteed authentic and original, no restoration, no fixes or touch-ups, completely as found. Full original date pad. Metal bands are in pristine condition with only a hint of oxidation on the upper one on the left side, but very light. Otherwise they look as new condition. There is a very small 1/2\" tear at the extreme bottom left along the band, but hard to notice except in a very closeup picture. There is some very light edge wear, but it\'s minimal. I don\'t think I would be remiss in saying this is one of the better original, unrestored examples of this calendar known. Dimensions 20.5\" x 14.75\".
