Very rare and stunningly beautiful, original 1913 Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. of Seattle, Washington Pre-Prohibition, Tin Lithographed Advertising Serving Tray featuring a wonderful image of a beautiful young woman with a growling Black Bear. The Tray advertises the brewery\'s Rainier Beer and is in outstanding, original condition.

This stunningly beautiful and exceptionally rare, Tin Litho Beer Tray measures 13 1/2\" in diameter and features an enchanting image of a beautiful young woman wearing a low cut, gauzy dress and leaning on her left elbow that rests upon the head of a Bear. There is no text on the image area of the Tray but text on the raised rim at the top reads \"Rainier Beer and text on the raised rim at the bottom reads \"Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. / Seattle, U.S.A.\". There is also text at the right and left hand sides of the raised rim that reads \"Strength\" and \"Purity\".

This outstanding, Pre-Prohibition Rainier Beer Company Advertising Beer Tray is copyright 1913 by the Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. and the design is designated \"1702\". Although the Tray does not carry the mark of the manufacturer it is a well documented design that was manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss Co. of New York City. The Chromolithography is of the VERY highest quality as would be expected from the outstanding craftsmen employed by this premier maker of tin lithographed advertising items.

This very beautiful, 1913 Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. Advertising Serving Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1913 Serving Tray manufactured by Kaufmann & Strauss for the Brewery to advertise their Rainier Beer.

This rare and exceptionally beautiful, Pre-Prohibition Tin Lithograph Washington State Brewery Advertising Beer Tray is in excellent condition and displays beautifully. The Chromolithography is bright and bold - rich and warm and very attractive. The image area is exceptionally well preserved with no scratches, scuffs, surface loss or damage of any kind. There are some small spots, tiny scratches and minor rubs to the raised rim as can be seen in the scans below but overall the Tray is exceptionally well preserved and displays beautifully.
