The Tray is very attractive and advertises the brewery\'s \"Edelweiss Beer\".

This rare and beautiful, Tin Litho Beer Tray measures 13\" in diameter and features a bust portrait of the young red haired beauty against a dark and rich blue background. The only text on the image area of the Tray reads \"Edelweiss Beer\". Text on the raised rim at the bottom reads \"The Peter Schoenhofen Brewing Co. / Chicago\".

This outstanding, Pre-Prohibition Chicago Brewing Company Advertising Beer Tray is copyright 1913 by the Peter Schoenhofen Brewing Co. and although it does not carry the mark of its manufacturer it has been attributed to Kaufmann & Strauss Co. of New York City. The Chromolithography is of the VERY highest quality as would be expected from the outstanding craftsmen employed by this premier maker of tin lithographed advertising items.

This very beautiful, 1913 Peter Schoenhofen Brewing Company Advertising Serving Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1913 Serving Tray distributed to advertise the Brewery\'s Edelweiss Beer.

This rare and very beautiful, Pre-Prohibition Tin Lithograph California Brewery Advertising Beer Tray is in very good condition and displays nicely. The Chromolithography is bright and bold - rich and warm and exceptionally attractive. There are scattered, very small surface scratches and tiny blemishes to the image area of the Tray as well as surface nicks and loss to the very outer edge of the rolled rim. There is a factory hole at 12:00 o\'clock in the image area and an added hole just left of 12:00 o\'clock on the edge of the rim. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the condition of this fantastic Chicago Brewery Beer Tray!!
