Original and very rare, large, oblong 1916 Coca-Cola Tin Lithographed \"Elaine” Advertising Serving Tray with illustration of a beautiful young woman in a yellow dress and holding a soda fountain glass of Coca-Cola in her left hand. She sits on a wicker basket and peers alluringly over her right shoulder. This wonderful elongated, oblong Serving Tray measures 8 1/2” x 19\". The Tray is known to collectors as the \"Elaine\" Serving Tray. There is text on the Tray that reads simply “Drink Coca-Cola”.

This beautiful, large size, Serving Tray carries a copyright notice by the Coca-Cola Co. and is also signed by the Lithographer - the Passaic Metal Ware Co. of Passaic, New Jersey.

This rare and original Coca-Cola Serving Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1916 Serving Tray manufactured by The Passaic Metal Works for Coca-Cola in 1916. It is unconditionally guaranteed to be original and of the period!!!

The Tray is in very good condition and displays nicely. The lithography is bright and the colors rich. There are areas of surface rubbing in the area of the woman\'s elbow and her left hand as well as other small blemishes and light rubs. There are also some nicks to the edge of the rolled rim. The surface is sound and stable. The Tray appears to have had a light and very tasteful clear coat. Please see the scans below for a good indication of condition.
