Offered for sale is a rare original 1916 PIEDMONT Cigarettes Tin Litho Advertising Sign. Measures a large 30.5 X 24 inches with wooden frame. In the bottom right corner is labeled, \"Copyrighted 1916 by Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. NEW YORK. E-2409.\" The sign is titled in the bottom center, \"Washington\'s Return to Mount Vernon.\" A colorful and historic sign, showing George Washington coming home to his family of Martha and the kids. The Piedmont logo is prominently displayed in the upper left of the sign, with an image of the tobacco box / pack in the lower right. Piedmont was a large manufacturer of tobacco / cigarettes in its era, also well known for inserting sporting cards into their packs for a period of time, producing the famous/rare T206 Honus Wagner baseball card. sale.
