Rare and original, 1920\'s Chromolithograph, Die Cut, Easel Back, Countertop Paperboard Advertising Sign for \"Bank Note\" Brand Cigars manufactured by H. Upmann.

This original and quite rare, American Cigar Company Advertising Sign measures approx. 13 3/4\" by 21 1/4\" and is printed on a heavy weight, paperboard stock with a folding easel back. The Sign features two \"Bankers\" at the top enjoying a Bank Note Cigar. Below there is an open box of Bank Note Cigars that is die cut also and could be displayed n a manner that creates a 3-D effect. Text at the very bottom of the Sign reads \"Bank Note Cigars\".

This rare and original, American Cigar Advertising Sign was to be displayed on a countertop of a Cigar Shop or other retail location and carries the mark of the manufacturer - Barnes and Meyer of Philadelphia.

This very rare Bank Note Cigars Advertising Sign is in very good condition. The colors are bright and vibrant and the surface is generally clean and crisp and well preserved with light wear at the edges and a light crease at the upper left hand corner. The Sign retains its original, folding easel style stand on the back which appears to have never been unfolded / used.
