Wonderful, original and quite rare, 1920’s, Tin Lithographed Advertising Serving Tray for Gibson\'s Ice Cream (manufactured in Worcester, Massachusetts) featuring an image of a beautiful young girl carrying a tray full of Soda Fountain Dishes of Ice Cream. This very attractive, Ice Cream / Dairy, Advertising Serving Tray measures approx. 13 1/4\" square and is unsigned by the manufacturer.
There is text in a gold gilt circle at the upper left hand corner that reads \"Good Every Day of the Year\" and \"Gibson\'s Ice Cream\".
This wonderful 1920’s Gibson\'s Ice Cream Advertising Serving Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original Tin Lithograph Serving Tray manufactured in the early 20th century to promote the sale of Gibson\'s Ice Cream.
This outstanding, 1920\'s Advertising Ice Cream Serving Tray is in very good to excellent condition - the lithography is bright and vibrant and the Tray displays nicely. There are no major areas of surface loss or wear but there are a few, scattered small surface nicks to the image area but very little wear to the gold border at the raised rim. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the condition of this wonderful, early 20th century Ice Cream Advertising Tray.
