This is a nice playing instrument. I have had it for years. At some point it had suffered moisture damage but I had that professionally repaired.The skin or head was torn but that also was repaired and is holding strong. No refinishing work has been done, just glue around the drum. The case had moisture damage as well but is quite functionable and could be further repaired if desired.It is a lot louder than I would have thought and sounds and plays very good.
