Rare and original, 1930’s Dr. Pepper Tin Lithographed Advertising Serving Tray. This wonderful oblong tray measures 10 ½” by 13 1/4\" and pictures a beautiful young woman dressed in a gauzy blue formal dress and holding classic, 10oz bottles of Dr Pepper in both hands. We have seen this Tray called the “Two Fisted Girl” Tray but do not believe that it has a formal title. The Tray carries the mark of the manufacturer - Robertson of Springfield, Ohio - on the inner, green decorative border.
This wonderful Dr. Pepper Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1930’s Serving Tray manufactured by Robertson for Dr. Pepper Soda in the 1930‘s.
The rare, Dr. Pepper Tin Lithograph Advertising Tray is in very good to excellent condition - the lithography is bright and crisp - the colors bright and vibrant and the Tray displays beautifully. There are some small and scattered surface nicks and tiny scratches to the surface but otherwise the Tray is very well preserved. Even the rolled rim exhibits only a few very small surface abrasions and no significant surface loss. The back side of the tray has some light surface wear.
