Original and very rare, 1932 Coca-Cola Tin Lithographed \"Girl in the Yellow Bathing Suit\" Advertising Serving Tray.

This very rare and original, 1932 Coke Serving Tray measures 10 1/2” by 13 1/4” and features a portrait of a beautiful young woman in a yellow bathing suit seated on a beach towel draped over a beach chair and holding a classic 10 ounce bottle of Coca-Cola in her right hand. The Tray is known to collectors as the \"Girl in the Yellow Bathing Suit\" Tray. There is text at the top and the bottom of the Tray on the raised rim that reads simply “Drink Coca-Cola”.

This beautiful Serving Tray is copyright 1932 by the Coca-Cola Co. and is also signed by the Lithographer - the American Art Works Co. of Coshocton, Ohio.

This rare and original Coca-Cola Advertising Tray is not a reproduction, reissue or restrike but is an original 1932 Serving Tray manufactured by The American Art Works for Coca-Cola in 1932. It is unconditionally guaranteed to be original and of the period!!!

The Tray is in very good condition and displays nicely. The lithography is bright and the colors rich. There is soiling to the image area as well as other small blemishes and light rubs which includes a vertical scratch to the left of the figure of the woman. There are also some nicks to the edge of the rolled rim. The surface is sound and stable. The Tray appears to have had a light and very tasteful clear coat. Please see the scans below for a good indication of condition.
