Offered here is a nice vintage Hardy Brothers of Alnwick \'No1 L. R. Hardy\' Palakona cane 9\' 4\" dry fly rod with two tops and original bags. It is serial numbered \'E32012\' showing the year of manufacture to be 1934. Features of this quality rod include; reversible bank spear, agate line guides throughout, close whipping (marked in inches on the but section) and stud lock ferrules. The rod is straight from an estate sale and is in nice useable/collectable condition as per my photos below. A desirable rod offered here with a low price start and . The dimensions of this item exceed the \'airmail small packet\' limits so overseas shipping is very expensive. Also it constitutes a UK \'large parcel\' so has to go by Parcelforce 48.
