The Martin Committee trumpet is the most famous trumpet ever played.This is a 2 as it has no extra numbers other than the serial number on the valve casing.It has a .453 bore size and a 4 7/8ths inch bell.This is the same size bell that Chris Botti plays on even though he plays a Martin \"3.\"
This instrument is on consignment in our store from the daughter of the original owner.He played this instrument in high school and never played it again.The instrument is in wonderful condition. It has the original mouthpiece.It has original lacquer and I would grade it in the high 90\'spercentile.There are some small imperfections as this is a used instrument.The horn has never been dropped in the bell or anywhere else.
It plays wonderfully.Someone should own this instrument. It is terrific.
