Description:
College Football Program for a game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Alabama Crimson Tide, played at Shields-Watkins Field (now Neyland Stadium) in Knoxville, on Oct. 21, 1950.

Tennessee defeated Alabama 14-9.

The Vols started the season as #4, stumbled with their only loss at Mississippi State 7-0, fell to #18, then finished strong at 11-1, beating #5 Texas in the Cotton Bowl 20-14 to finish ranked #4.

Tennessee players included captain and future star New York Giant lineman Jack Stroud, a three time NFL Pro Bowler.
