1950s Madame Alexander CISSY Wrist Hang TAG 1st issue

This listing is for acolorREPRODUCTION of the original wrist hang tag for theCISSYdollsmade by theMadame Alexanderdoll companyin the 1950's. This tag was the first issuetag for the CISSY doll that had her name on the inside.This tagisprinted in a muted purple color.

The first tag for Cissy in 1955 did not have her name on it. A reproduction of this first tag is available in another of my listings.

Thethird tag usedfor CISSY( from the 1960's) has the hotpink ink used.

Thetagfor this listingis a 4 sidedtag folded. There is printing onboth sides of this tag. Inside is the description for Cissy. The printing is clear and crisp.The hole is punched smaller than the original so there will be NO confusion/question that it is a REPRODUCTION tag. This is a great reference item for your doll collection.
