ITEM: Original issue McDonnell Aircraft Navy F2H-3 (I believe) Banshee carrier-based jet fighter plane promotional desk model with original stand, box, and packaging. This plane is from the Navy desk model plane collection of retired Rear Admiral E.L. (Whitey) Feightner, whose collection I recently purchased from his family.
WHEN MADE: 1950s
SIZE: The jet is approximately 10\" long with a 10 3/8\" wingspan
CONDITION: Clean and free of damage with minor cosmetic wear. It looks like the previous owner may have touched-up the decal on the underside of the left wing, as pictured. The box has its original packaging and normal wear from storage. The previous owner\'s name (E L Feightner) is hand written on the box.
