*More Photos Below Description*For your consideration is a beautiful 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She is 10" tall, all hard plastic, jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips and knees. She poses well and her knees bend as they should. Blue sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes, stroked brows and coral lips. Her ears are not pierced. Her original blonde wig maintains its original curl.
She is marked "Mme Alexander"
She is dressed in her tagged Madame Alexander #916 outfit. Author Marjorie Merrod describes this dress as a rarer variation of #916 in her book A Complete Guide To Madame Alexander Dolls. Navy Taffeta dress with sheer dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset, taffeta slip with lace trim, navy horse hair hat, nylons stockings with back seam, panties and white high heel shoes. The dress is a TLC, it has been repaired at the seams of the pleated inset, a bit of soil on the sleeves, but still displays beautifully.*Shipping includes full insurance and tracking*
