1957 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll 20\" IN BOX #2175 Lady Hamilton ALL ORIGINAL

This is Cissy made by Madame Alexander in 1957. Very specifically, she is Cissy #2175 Lady Hamilton. She was found at an estate sale, and she is in her original box, wearing her original outfit. She is shown on p. 53 of the book: Madame Alexander\'s Ladies of Fashion by Marjorie Uhl. I am showing a photo of the page in the book about this doll. The book is not included in the sale. This doll is in very, very good condition but she is not perfect. I\'ve looked her over pretty carefully and I see these flaws: 1) The pearl drop is missing from the earring in her right ear (left side as you look at her). 2) She has some light marks on her hat. 3) She has a couple tiny holes inn her underwear on the side where the fabric somehow got stuck in her thigh joint. 3) There are some light marks on her legs. 4) There is a small, shiny pinkish mark under her right eye, sort of to the side on her upper cheek. 5) She has light marks on her neck where the head has rubbed against it. 6) Her box is pretty beat up (but it has done a good job of protecting her and keeping her clean and dust-free all these years!). It is faded, badly dented, scuffed, and the edges of the lid are torn away in several places.

I have not undressed Cissy, as I don\'t think anyone has ever undressed her. Her clothing is just on her perfectly. She is wearing her complete original outfit including the fabulous hat with pink roses, Her blue silk pongee gown (according to the book) with pink roses sewn to the skirt, her hoop skirt slip with white lace trim, stockings, silver high heels, a ring on one finger and a bracelet on one wrist. Her blue \"jewel\" necklace pendant hangs from a velvet ribbon.

Cissy\'s eyes open and close as they should. Her eyes seem sort of blueish green to me. The box says she has brown hair (check mark on brown) but it is definitely blond hair. It is gorgeous and in the original set, with a metal headband on top, under the hat. Her face paint is all original. She is clean and has no weird smells, and has been in a nonsmoking home.

This is a rare doll and super hard to find in ANY condition. I have described her as best I can. She will be double boxed -- in her own MA box and then inside a shipping box. It will be a big box and shipping weight will be about 6 lbs. The package will be fully insured and will have the required signature confirmation delivery required by Paypal.
