Played at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri on March 22-23, 1957.

In one of the most epic and remarkable Final Fours ever, North Carolina, coached by Frank McGuire and led by Lennie Rosenbluth, first defeated Michigan State and Johnny Green 74-70 in triple overtime, then beat Kansas and Wilt Chamberlain 54-53, also in triple overtime ,for the NCAA Title.
