1959 Marx Tales of Wells Fargo train set in very good condition with original box.
Based on the popular television show starring Dale Robertson as Jim Hardie. The
set is complete except for the transformer and track. All cars and locomotive are
original and complete with some wear from age and gentle use over the years. The
box is in very good shape for its age with all dividers still intact, some marks
and rough edges. All smoke-stacks for the passenger and boxcar are present and in
perfect shape which is rare for this set. This is a very collectible and popular
antique O gauge western style electric train set.
The train has not been tested for a few years. The last time I used the train it did
run but was sluggish. It will need some fine tuning to get it running properly. The
train set is being sold as is. Possibly some wiring work done in the past. The loco-
motive is marked Wm. Crooks and the coal tender is marked Tales of Wells Fargo. The
lettering has faded over time and is hard to see (common for this set). One boxcar
roof shows some crazing from age but is not very noticable. All couplers are intact
and working fine. I\'ve tried to include all information possible. Please let me know
