Made in Japan in the 1960`s by Alps, and Rosko tested, of all tin construction with alithographedhead and plates, and a plastic helmet cover. Missing is the plastic antenna that revolves from his head.There is light rubs to the clock face and the hand-held remote control battery box has a slight separation but is very clean and both functions work very well.Press the left button and his eyes light up as he marches forward with his arms moving back and forth with theapparatus moving back and forth as well. Press the right button and his eyes rapidly blink as the clock in his chest counts down to zero, where the rockets fire one at a time. One of the rockets has a piece missing from the tip of the fin, but both rockets work perfectly. The plastichelmet cover opens up to reveal the lithographed tin head that shines his light independently of the cover.Measures a bit more than 14 inches tall. A rare robot that looks great and displays beautifully in the most discriminant of robot collections.
