1961 IDEAL Robot Commando
Up for offers is this Vintage 1961 Robot Commando from Ideal Toys. Marvin Glass & Associates was a toy design and engineering firm based in Chicago. Marvin Glass (1914 - 1974) and his employees created some of the most successful toys and games of the 20th century including Mr. Machine, Rock \'Em Sock \'Em Robots, Ants in the Pants, Mouse Trap and ROBOT COMMANDO.
He is in very good condition. No chips, cracks on his body. The old batteries are still in place as seen in photos and he comes with 3 balls, one is missing, 4 rockets that have seen some action, the control Bar with wire attached to Robot and in his original box, with instructions.
Measurements: Stands 18\" high x 11 1/4\" depth 14\" wide.
Condition: No cracks, chips or breaks. The original box has some dents and wear. The control device is present but I don\'t know if it is in working order. It will have to be tested.I don\'t know what it would take to get this Robot into good working order. There are holes, age discoloration and some rips and tears and wear on the instructions. f Free of any bugs. We are selling this \"as is\" so please feel free to ask any questions.
